I had a dream in which I saw a silver Bald Eagle swiftly fly into my house and land on me as if it was bringing me something. Its feathers were exquisite, a silver I've never seen before. The feathers on its head were white as a bald eagle would be except the white was shimmering as if dusted with diamonds. Next I found myself outside my door and I saw a silver and white raccoon crawling on the side of my neighbors house. And lastly I remember a little brown, soft and fluffy guinea pig coming into my yard. When I found it I knew it wasn't mine and that I needed to find its owners. But at the same time I knew it wanted to stay with me. It was almost as if it thought I was its mother. I kept it for a bit and cared for it but I knew its owners would need to be found and given to them.
I knew the dream was personal but I was also aware of the prophetic message it delivered. As the Lord ministered to me today, I heard the words, "fight for your vision!" I saw many people with dreams and visions that God had given them. These dreams were still in their fetal stage and needed to be protected. Like a baby needs to be cared for and covered, so too these dreams God placed within many. I saw these dreams as fragile eggs that people were carrying with them. If left unattended they would be snatched up by an opportunistic prowler lurking near by. On the other hand I saw some people that were coddling them and were not allowing them to properly mature because they did not want to let them go. Whatever dream or Vision God has placed within you is your responsibility to protect, nurture, care for, and cultivate growth. As any good mother would you must help this baby grow to its full potential and then release it to do the work it was created to do. So many people are not properly nurturing or protecting the dream God placed within them so the enemy is stealing the vision. And many others are holding onto something because it has become to comfortable and because of fear and selfishness have not allowed the gift God placed in them to be released. We must understand that when God gives us something to cultivate and release it's generally not ours to keep; it belongs to those who’s lives it was meant to touch and therefore it is our duty to cultivate and release the gifting. We must fight to keep the vision God placed within us and like and eagle have eyes to see it off. So many dreams have not come to fruition because they have been prematurely snatched away. We must be able to "zero in" and target the foes that threaten our dreams with their cries of "abort mission!" Foes of fear, of selfishness, of delay, foes of weariness, of complacency, of laziness, of lack, foes of failure, defeat and give up. While so many enemies shout, "abort, abort, abort!" God is saying, "fight for the vision, complete the mission!"
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly.
From thence she (the eagle) seeketh the prey, and her eyes behold afar off.
